WEEK TWO - MINGLE

Has it really been only a week since you found yourself in this place? But just like that, the days have come and gone, and five of your number have been lost. The space seems a little larger, less claustrophobic. By mid-afternoon on Sunday, after the execution, guests will also realise that the hotel is once again pristine thanks to the work of the ever-present faceless and nameless staff members, and the elevators are all in working order again.

Something is peculiar about your rooms, though -- something you may notice after you come back from the execution. Your desks now have a different Polaroid camera on them. This time, each resident gets one with a total of 10 film each. Film for these cameras in particular can be refilled in the gift shop. For Kurama in particular, the camera is larger and built so that he's able to (somewhat) see through the lenses and hit a button with his nose to take the photo. What differentiates these cameras from the ones you received last week is for you to find out.

At precisely 8AM on Monday morning, the fog recedes slightly, allowing just the slightest hint of sunlight to peek through. There is a gentle sea breeze, comfortable weather in every feasible way.

Rise and shine, everyone, it's time to make the day yours, just like the rest of the week. Better enjoy it while it lasts.

I don't typically wear a lot of color, to tell you the truth. Although I'm sure you can see that.

[ He's picked out the most muted colors available in the gift shop. ]

I'm not an expert on fashion or anything... I just like clothes that are comfortable, mostly.

I do too, and I even go for the colors I find most calming to look at. Blue, purple, white... I like things that put my mind at ease.

I think they look nice on you. But something a little bit brighter isn't bad either.

I think a bright red would be a bit much, but maybe... yellow? I could try that.

Oh, sunflowers would be nice...

A crown of hyacinth... I think that would look nice.

[Gershom thumbs a hyacinth flower.]

Hyacinth... they can mean different things depending on the color, if I'm remembering my flower language phase right.

Yes, they do. I read about them in one of the books here. I know that yellow means jealousy.

White ones are for beauty, and I think blue ones are for playfulness? Maybe that one.

Oh, then I would say blue suits you quite well. You're not exactly what many would call playful, but you're good at lifting spirits.

Maybe I will. I've been sitting on so many skeleton puns that I never get a chance to use.

I think you could cheer a lot of people up with them. I know most of us could use that.

[ And he thinks cheering people up with cheer up Gershom in turn. ]

Iria said I might be good at phone therapy, when we go home. I'd never considered it before.

[But it made him happy - the idea that he might be able to help people.]

Phone therapy... I've never tried it, but if I did, I would hope someone like you picked up on the other line.
