WEEK THREE - MINGLE

Last week might've been the worst week some of you have ever had. From the hallucinations to losing five of your number yet again, things are looking rather bleak -- and yet, perhaps optimistic, given that you're so close to ending the game. Is it worth sacrificing one more person to end it, though? ... Only one way to find out.

You have time until then, though, to regroup and recollect yourself if you choose to. From Monday morning, after the rain that fell on Sunday, the weather, continues to be more overcast and stormy throughout the week - gray clouds swirl around the sky ominously, and the pleasantly balmy weather that you've come to expect gives way to passing showers with ominous thunder. Perhaps it's not a good time to go for a swim in the pool, but no one's stopping you if that's what you decide on doing. Your locations, likewise, have changed.

The end is almost here. There are only slightly over half your number still remaining. Do your best to survive.

[ Tylor smiles and throws a chip, aiming for the artist's mouth without any additional warning. Good luck. But if that misses, he'll hold one for him to bite at if he wants anyway.

Either way, he's genuinely curious about all things magic still. ]

[ he bites - because he's always hungry for mana. since he can't have mana, food is the next best thing. ]

Your aim's not bad. [ some version of thanks. ]

Well... this here - [ he points. ] - is what I'm asking it to seal against. It's the symbol for malevolence. It's kind of vague, but in this case, whatever or whoever wants to do us harm will fall into that category. So... hm... it's like a mouse trap.

[ he's trying. ]

And the mouse is her. Or maybe it. Dunno.

[ Tylor smiles, tossing a couple more his way in between eating his own. It's only a little harder than throwing darts. ]

Huh, so she'd have to mean us harm while she's in the trap?

[ he appreciates this game of snack basketball, even as his mouth says the most morbid stuff. ]

Yes. If, however... if she means to keep us alive, to preserve us in the most healthy state, so she can take over a warm body, then that's where it gets... iffy.

[ is that a pun because it's not intended. ]

[ Snack basketball champions. Lucas is just lucky that Tylor is a good shot and showed up with a decently sized bag. ]

Oh, I see. [ Crunch, crunch. ] But what if she actually thinks she's not harming us?

[ he's made of 60% more petulance when he isn't fed, so he really is more lucky in that sense. it's kind of strange how many people here humor him. ]

Dunno if that's possible with someone this malevolent. She's all alone here - you notice she doesn't talk to anyone but us? She doesn't have anyone. If she could convince herself that she's not harming anyone doing this, she'd be able to convince others, too.
