Last week might've been the worst week some of you have ever had. From the hallucinations to losing five of your number yet again, things are looking rather bleak -- and yet, perhaps optimistic, given that you're so close to ending the game. Is it worth sacrificing one more person to end it, though? ... Only one way to find out.

You have time until then, though, to regroup and recollect yourself if you choose to. From Monday morning, after the rain that fell on Sunday, the weather, continues to be more overcast and stormy throughout the week - gray clouds swirl around the sky ominously, and the pleasantly balmy weather that you've come to expect gives way to passing showers with ominous thunder. Perhaps it's not a good time to go for a swim in the pool, but no one's stopping you if that's what you decide on doing. Your locations, likewise, have changed.

The end is almost here. There are only slightly over half your number still remaining. Do your best to survive.

Reigen.

[You broke the portal. Akira does his best rendition of Gentaro's extremely offended face. Pretty spot on, right?]

It was on its way out! Someone had to try something!

Looks like we found one of its weaknesses.

[That's a plus, right?]

See? Exactly! That was what I was trying to figure out!

[Was it now, Reigen? Was it really?]

Is your nose getting longer...?

[Reigen, your lies are so obvious that they're causing him real physical pain. Stop it.]

Of course not, Akira-kun. Are you sure you don't need real glasses?

[He can't stop. It's a core personality flaw somebody help him.]

[ Yuki tries so hard not to laugh he starts coughing. ]

[Can we throw salt on Reigen or...]

[You know what? That's not a bad idea. Akira eyes Reigen's bag of salt with intent...]

I wonder if salting Reigen will attract geese? It's worth a try.

Just as long as you don't expect me to try to bash them over the head with a flashlight if they do show up.

[I MEAN WHY NOT.]

What? Are you trying to feed me to geese or something?!

[He huffs, trying to keep the bag away from Akira.]

This is specifically for warding off evil spirits!

[It's basic table salt.]

That's table salt.

[The truth will set you free, Reigen. If he doesn't act fast, Akira'll yoink that salt right out of his hands and toss a generous sprinkling of it at him. Well? Does a salted Reigen bring all the geese to the yard?]

[ Reigen gets salted. For a quiet, drawn-out moment, nothing happens.

And then, in the near distance, there's a honk and the sound of wings flapping around wildly.

What do you do? ]

...what have you done?

[Reigen attempts to brush the salt off of him in case the geese are looking to feed off salted hot people. He's not dying by goose, thanks!]

[Oh...? He— was not expecting geese, but that's fine. This is all fine. There are a number of things one could use to take on a goose in the library, but Reigen doesn't look like the fighting sort, and thus:]

Maybe you should run.

[While you still can. If Akira dies in a struggle with an angry goose, please bury him with his fake glasses.]

[ He can do that all he wants, but the flapping sounds get closer and closer --

except when the goose shows itself, it looks like it's not out for salted hot people blood. It just looks kind of lost? Eventually it waddles up to Reigen and Akira and honks loudly.

And then it moves (flaps) in to try and snatch the salt bag out of their hands. ]

[You know what? This is not how Akira's going to go out, so he forfeits the salt to the goose and lets it do as it pleases with the bag. Sorry, Reigen. You can go to the kitchen and get more table salt later.]

Oh, come on!!

[Reigen doesn't value this salt he got on clearance quite enough to die over it, so he tosses the bag in the opposite direction.]

There! Fetch!

[ The goose grabs the salt with its beak and waddles off speedily with it. It's also kinda doing it messily so there's just. This giant trail of salt on the ground that goes towards the elevators.

F. ]

[Scooping up a pinch of salt and trying to toss it on that goose for good measure!]

[ WELL.

It goes bananas and kind of flaps around wildly. Then it turns around and the whiplash from the turn means that some of the salt from the bag goes flying towards Alan.

[Don't you regret freaking the fuck out, grandpa? Here, have a consoling pat on the shoulder... Not facetious at all!!]

Come on. Let's go get you some new salt.

[Reigen grimaces. This is far from the stupidest thing that’s happened to him, but it’s up there.]

I’ll have to buy another one of those bags when I’m out of here…damn goose.

[So is anyone going to try to salt the goose...

... or not.]

Just because I bought it at the convenience store doesn't mean it can't--

[Reigen flails a bit to try and get his bag of salt back and lets out an indignant squawk when he has it thrown at him.]
