WEEK THREE - MINGLE

Last week might've been the worst week some of you have ever had. From the hallucinations to losing five of your number yet again, things are looking rather bleak -- and yet, perhaps optimistic, given that you're so close to ending the game. Is it worth sacrificing one more person to end it, though? ... Only one way to find out.

You have time until then, though, to regroup and recollect yourself if you choose to. From Monday morning, after the rain that fell on Sunday, the weather, continues to be more overcast and stormy throughout the week - gray clouds swirl around the sky ominously, and the pleasantly balmy weather that you've come to expect gives way to passing showers with ominous thunder. Perhaps it's not a good time to go for a swim in the pool, but no one's stopping you if that's what you decide on doing. Your locations, likewise, have changed.

The end is almost here. There are only slightly over half your number still remaining. Do your best to survive.

[Oh, he's being scolded... Well, so much for eating a piranha. The chance of a lifetime slips back into the pool and Akira makes no move to retrieve it, finding it more prudent to apologize for his, uh, everything.]

[ Tylor watches futily as his finger fish happily returns uneaten to the water. Setting back up seems like a lot of effort. Instead, he lives here on the ground now, cross legged and eventually looking over at them while they talk. ]

Oh. So you found the spirit thing?

[ Now that the main drama is over, if anyone else nearby wants to spectate or join in, this thread is now open. ]

I did. It came with a card, which had illustrations that made me believe it may have been intended for the two of you.

[ The card in question is a fairly accurate depiction for a stick drawing, but what is more important are the two lines of instructions that come with it on the other side of the card:

Inserted into the top of the box above the ouija board itself is a Wikihow-style illustration on how to set up an ouija board. ]

[Akira takes the card and turns it front and back. Ah, right. This is Justy's drawing. Akira's grown rather fond of them, but he'll turn the card back over to Penny regardless, shaking his head.]

Justy drew that himself. Nice touch, right? Delivering items with a special card just felt more personal.

[ Tylor looks over the drawing and instructions carefully with an expression that says he is trying to concentrate and mostly winning for once. ]

... Maybe I should add you to this one, Penny.

[Alcina walks by with swim gear in hand, like she was considering spending some time in the pool. But once she peers down and sees the pool full of fish, that is no longer a consideration.

She doesn't even ask. She just sighs deeply, because this may as well be happening.]

[ Presumably still on the ground, with his injured finger held up, Tylor smiles brightly up at her with a suggestion. ]

Good mo--afternoon. Don't worry, the jacuzzi is still fish free. [ Well, he didn't really check, so don't mind him glancing over now. ] ... I think.

[Oh no, poor man-thing. Better get that to the health room.

She follows Tylor's gaze...]

It had better be, or my disappointment will be immeasurable and my day will be ruined.

[At least the reclining pool chairs haven't been impacted by the abrupt chaos unfolding here. If the lovely Lady D needs a hand or two putting sunscreen on her back, Akira's got her covered.]

That's alright. If I ask the manager nicely [why would he ever ask the manager nicely], maybe she'll throw in some bonus potato salad. After all, she was kind enough to give us fish and a spooky board game.

It's called a... [...Weggie board? Luigi board...? Oh, right—] ...Ouija board. It's over there if you want to take a look at it, but be careful. It might be cursed.

[The manager never did tell them what the potential benefits or ramifications of their item selections were before they made their choices, but so far, no one's died as a result of Akira and Justy's decisions. Isn't that nice?]
